You can link a domain name to your hosting in different ways.

  1. Couple with your order
You order a hosting package from Combell and you specify the domain name during the ordering process. If the domain name is elsewhere, we will ask you to change the A-records of that domain name to the IP address of your hosting package.
You can find the IP address in the overview of your hosting package: go to “My products”> “Web hosting”> “Manage hosting” in the control panel.
  2. Link as an extra domain name for your website
You add the domain name to your hosting / website as an extra domain name afterwards. We call this an alias domain name.

  3. Link as a separate website
You add the domain name as a separate website afterwards. You can do this by creating a subsite on your hosting package with the chosen domain name.
