Use this handy guide to quickly start using your new webhosting account.
Step 1: Connect your domain name
It is possible to have your domain name registered with one company and hosted with another. Make sure the two are connected:
- Your domain name(s) must be connected to your hosting
- Your domain name(s) must be connected to your mail
Step 2 Create your first email address and set it up in your mail client
Step 3 Time to upload your website
If you have an existing website you can upload it via SSH:
- Enable SSH
- Learn how to use a public/private key pair
OR
You can upload it via FTP.
OPTIONAL Build a new website:
- Use the CMS installer
Caution: When a CMS is installed, all the data on my site (files and selected database) will be erased.
